Gelett Burgess, the original author, and Goops Unlimited both feel polite behavior and manners allow children to be welcomed with open arms and joy.

In 2005 Barbara Ross had the foresight to reintroduce this timeless piece of work in a vivid watercolor rendition by illustrator Diana Camille. Thanks to their collaboration, a new generation of children will have an opportunity to enjoy thewhimsical illustrations and happy rhyme of the Goops.
