For Sharon Davis, baking began with oatmeal raisin cookies and Lazy Daisy Cake on an Iowa family farm. Her time in the kitchen created special bonds, a passion for life, and a love of baking.
Passion turned to profession at Iowa State University and Kansas State University with a B.S. and Secondary Education degree in Home Economics/Family and Consumer Sciences. With over 32 years in over 1,000 classrooms, workshops, and conferences in nearly every state, Sharon finds her education continues in the form of learning from the educators and youth volunteers she meets along the way.
