Betty Lou Dean
Illustrating children’s books is a dream come true for Betty Lou Dean, whose first published work was a 2010 collaboration with Laurie Lee Eichorst called The Silk Fairy.
Betty has lived most of her life in Portland, Oregon. She attended the well-known Girls’ Polytechnic Highschool in the 1940’s, when she was known as Betty Lou Parson.
Now retired, Betty’s greatest joy is in spending time with her great-grandchildren, and pursuing her love of art.
The Frozen Princess is Betty's first book with Goops Unlimited, and she can't wait to get started on her next book, The Bunny Who Wanted to Fly.
