Charlene Patton's passion for foods and sharing with others was nurtured through 4-H, high school home economics, and Kansas State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition in Business in 1975.
With a career spanning over 30 years, she has been devoted to food and nutrition education as a family and consumer sciences professional. Seeking opportunities to teach through community service, and encouraging others to teach youth to develop food skills has always been important to her.
