Barbara Ross' family has been reading Goops for several generations. Her mother read the books to her as a child, and she continued that tradition with her children and grand-children. But when her family copy of the book had become so worn due to generations of use, she became determined to reproduce the book for her grandson so he might have a copy of his own. Little did she know that a decade later she would be at the helm of a Goops Unlimited Children's Publishing, a company with more than a dozen books in print in areas pertaining to character education, arts and crafts, and family cookbooks.
Barbara's greatest joy is in spending time with her grand-children. At any given moment she can be found crawling on the living room floor playing make believe, or rolling around in piles of fall leaves. She has a passion for life, and has devoted her golden years to bringing laughter and excitement into the lives of children.
Barbara first re-released Goops and How To Be Them, by Gelett Burgess, in 1999. Goop Tales, A Treasury of Goops, and The Goops Circus were soon to follow. In addition, readers may also find Goops Coloring books and Goops Flashcards.
